The same should be said about Solar and Wind power. Without taxpayer funding, these sources of energy would remain on the back burner. The up front cost remains an obstacle. The fact that people don't want these structures in their backyard is another obstacle.

Now lets talk about using Food (Corn) for energy and having the Federal government subsidize the farming industry.
