Level One
The Level One sheets are very basic, just pairs of numbers with no carrying involved. The foci of these sheets is the correct setting out of the sums including the placement of the addition symbol on the second line to the left of the bottom number, the numbers lined up vertically and not on a slope, and the correction (tick or cross) of the sum by the child.

Level Two
These build from the Level One sheets. The first part of each involves no carrying, and the second part contains sums with a single carry of 1. Focusing on the setting up of the work is still essential and if done properly in the early stages will reap large rewards later on.
