One of the goals of this website is to connect people in the solar industry with those looking to buy those products. Whether you are a bulk manufacturer of solar components or products, or a retailer with a particularly good product or range of solar products, you can benefit from appearing on this website.

Bulk Suppliers

The page where your company can be featured is shown here. Your company will have its own page with a link to your website. This page will show what kinds of products you offer and will basically be free promotion for you.

Retailers

If you're a small supplier or producer of specific solar equipment and have been struggling to get traffic to your site, you can also have your site promoted for free. This is a new addition to my site so if you're interested you'll be the first one to be featured in that section.

What Will It Cost?

There is no cost to you at all. However, I do ask that you place a link to my website on your home page. Why? Because this will improve how Google sees my site. That means I will get more traffic from search engines, and then so will you.

The link must be a follow link, as no-follow links are useless as far as search engine value is concerned.

Will You Lose Traffic To This Website?

In short, no. At present I receive between 1000 and 1500 unique visitors a day. Almost all of these come from search engines such as Google and Yahoo. It is far more likely that people interested in bulk buying solar products will travel from my site to yours, and not the other way around.

Also, since I only need the link to be present it does not need to be obvious. A link tucked away in the corner of a page is unlikely to be clicked on. And as far as I'm concerned, that's fine.

How Do You Get This Set Up?

If you are interested in an arrangement such as this, please use the form on the Contact Me page. If your site is appropriate I will then ask you to place the link on your home page. When the do-follow link is placed, I will write and publish a page about your company on this site. You will have the opportunity to comment on or request changes to the content of this page if you wish.

We both win out of this kind of arrangement. You get targeted traffic for free on a permanent basis. I get more visitors from search engines, which in turn benefits us both. And considering there is no cost involved at any level, this has to be a great deal for us both.
