Reware's New Solar Bag

solar bag The new solar bag by Reware features a large flexible thin film solar panel that makes a good go of charging up your mobile devices. The bag measures 19x15 inches on the side and is 11 inches deep.

The solar panel takes up the majority of one side and measure 12 inches square. It generates 6.3 watts at 0.325 amps, and can recharge most mobile devices within a few hours, assuming the bag is exposed to full sunshine. The bag is equipped with a female car socket connector, the same as the old cigarette lighter socket. Into this you can plug your car charger and then your mobile devices.

solar powered bags More than one bag can be connected in series if you want to reduce the amount of time needed to charge your stuff, though at the hefty price of $250 a pop such a luxury is beyond the reach of most mortals.

The bag is made of durable canvas and has a waterproof nylon frame. The whole bag is not waterproof, but you can remove the solar panel and its connection so that you can wash the bag. The panel itself can be used away from the bag. It might not be the cheapest solar panel money can buy, but it certainly is versatile. For more pictures of the bag visit the company website.
