Tods Solar Charger:
Greening The Rich?
The Tods solar charger is an up market version of your standard pocket sized device charger. It comes in a leather wallet and looks nice and flashy. The leather is either calf skin or alligator skin. It folds out to reveal two fair sized solar panels. The whole unit comes in a travel case to add further protection.It's not surprising that we're starting to see upper end products becoming available, as even rich people's iPod batteries run flat. I do find it a tad ironic that this "green" luxury option would come in an alligator leather covering. Perhaps Tod's is focusing on the convenience of being able to recharge anywhere rather than being more environmentally aware.
